Language Ambassadors (Ages 6-10) – Campers will use this time to work in small groups to develop reading and writing skills in the target language and practice their conversational skills by talking about the stories they are reading and writing in the second language.

Regular Immersion Session

9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Lunch: 12:00 PM – 12:30 PM

Thematic Unit: Hero Squad– Campers will have a blast at camp learning another language while practicing super powers and learning about ‘real heroes’ we can find in our everyday communities—fire fighters, nurses, teachers, and much more!  Through hands-on interactive activities, Language Kids campers will get a chance to practice using a foreign language in fun and meaningful ways.

Linguist Apprentices (Ages 3-5) – Though music and play, campers will develop their conversational skills in a second language. Children will engage in arts and crafts and hands-on projects while learning another language.

Language Ambassadors (Ages 6-10) – Campers will participate in project-based learning activities that will help them connect the foreign language they are learning to meaning, providing them the opportunity to develop their conversational skills while learning about fun and interesting topics.

Afternoon Immersion Session

(Optional session)

3:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Language Ambassadors (Ages 6-10) – Campers will use this time to work in small groups to develop reading and writing skills in the target language and practice their conversational skills by talking about the stories they are reading and writing in the second language.
